Quick and Easy Spinach Pesto
As you may have seen in the news recently shop bought Pesto can have more salt in then a certain fast food chains burgers. So, with Pesto being a staple in many peoples food repertoire DayOne Wellness wanted to give you a quick and easy recipe for Spinach Pesto.
You will need;
Air tight storage container
2 cups of fresh Spinach Leaves, washed and stemmed
1/2 cup of fresh Parsley
1/2 cup of toasted Walnuts or Pine Nuts
1/4 cup of freshly grated Parmesan
3 gloves of Garlic
2 tablespoons of pumpkin oil/olive oil
1/4 teaspoon Rock Salt
Pinch of Black Pepper
Add all ingredients into a blender and blitz together.
Taste and season as needed.
